A week after Firefox 4 RC1 was released, the news has come out that the final version of Mozilla Firefox 4 is slated for release on March 22. If the developers do not encounter any significant bugs, this release schedule will hold true.
However, if a significant issue arises, this release date will be moved back and Release Candidate 2 (RC2) version will be released.
According to Mozilla’s Damon Sicore,
Firefox 4 RC1 has received a very warm welcome; it’s time to make a decision to ship. As of now, there are no known issues that would stop us from shipping RC1 as final.March 22nd is the day we would ship.
