Google Search (I'm Feeling Lucky) Tricks

• If you type "google gravity" and then click "I'm feeling lucky" on Google, the entire page will lose it's gravity and you get to play with it.

• If you type "elgooG" and then click "I'm feeling lucky" on Google, will take you to a Google website that is completely backwards.

This backwards version of the ultra-popular search engine will come up directly if you click the ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button instead of ‘Google Search.’ The site was originally created just for fun, but has actually become quite useful in China after Google was banned there.

• If you type “Google pacman” and hit “im feeling lucky” then instead of “Doodle”(Google Logo), you will find Pacman Game created by Google. Click on “Insert Coin” (which is at place of Im feeling lucky button) button and you can play 1 player pacman. Double click to play 2 player version of same Game.

Google replaced doodle by Pacman Game on its 30th anniversary.

• Type “Find chak norris” and hit “Im feeling Lucky”. You will get very interesting result.

• Type “Google Easter Eggs” and hit “Im feeling Lucky”, You will find a special Google Game especially for you.

Update your Blog using Facebook

we all know about facebook and most of guys definitely use facebook daily we get so much addicted that we cannot live without it. Also fb is so vast everyday new trick of fb is found.So recently i am checking the articles of one of my frd hack tweaks and i found very nice article which is very usefull for blogger. we can now use fb and also update our blog at the same time.

You can update following blog services:

• TypePad
• Blogger
• Wordpress
• Live Journal
• Movable Type

Right now let me demonstrate for two most famous blogging platform, Wordpress and Blogger

First of all login to your Facebook account, and go to http://apps.facebook.com/blogittypepad/.

Then the Blog IT application will ask permission to allow it, allow it by clicking on Allow button.

In next Add Account window, select your blog type.

Blogger users must select Blogger. And if you have WordPress account in your own hosted domain then check WordPress.org Site, else if you have your blog registered in WordPress.com then choose WordPress.com.

Now you'll have option according to your blog type.

If you are using Blogger then follow these (Note: If you are not Blogger user then skip this) :

After choosing Blog type, you'll be asked to Authorize Blogger Account. Click it.

Then the page will be redirected to Google Blogger, if you have already signed in you'll see following window.

Click on Grant Access.

If you haven't logged in then you'll be redirected to Login page and after logging in you'll be redirect to Grant Access page.

After you've granted access to your blog, you'll be asked to choose the blog you want to update (in case if you have multiple blogs). Select your blog and Click on Save Changes button.

Once the operation is successful, yfou'll be able to update your blog from Facebook.

Now you have successfully setup your blog. Read how to post the from Facebook.

If you have WordPress Blog follow from here:

Type your WordPress username, password and URL to your blog and Click on Add account.

Now you have successfully setup your WordPress blog.

Writing a new post to your Blog.

After successfully setting up your blog, you can click on Post to Blog button to post a new article directly to your blog from Facebook.

Select your blog and type a new post and publish it.

Note that, this application doesn't check's your WordPress Blog URL. If you have given wrong information then it will not be able to publish your post.

The status will show if the post is published or not by a check mark icon.

Adding more than one blog.

You can add more than one blog. To add new one just go to Manage accounts.

Click on Add account and repeat the same process.

How To Get Invitation For New Facebook Messages/Email Service

Hey guys i my previous article i told that facebook is going to launch new email services.

Facebook has now launched the next evolution of messages. This service can be used to talk to your friends via SMS, chat, email or messages. It means they will receive your message through whatever medium or device is convenient for them.

Now every user of Facebook can get his own @facebook.com email address while the employees of Facebook will get @fb.com email address.

According to a blog post on official Facebook blog “To be clear, Messages is not email. There are no subject lines, no cc, no bcc, and you can send a message by hitting the Enter key. We modeled it more closely to chat and reduced the number of things you need to do to send a message. We wanted to make this more like a conversation.”

You have to wait for a while to use this new service from Facebook as the new Facebookmessages service is still invite only process.

Facebook to launch e-mail service

Facebook is set to announce a new e-mail feature on Monday that could challenge Gmail, Yahoo mail and Hotmail as the most popular online e-mail services, according to news reports on Friday.

The service by the popular social networking company will for the first time allow the site’s 500 million members to use “@facebook.com” addresses and will also be integrated with Microsoft’s recently introduced Office online services.

The tech news blog TechCrunch, which first reported the development, said the Facebook service would be a full-featured e-mail client.

“Facebook is completely rewriting their messaging product and is preparing to launch a fully featured webmail product in its place, according to a source with knowledge of the product,” TechCrunch wrote.

The development comes amid growing rivalry between Facebook and Google, which this week raised salaries across the board to pre-empt defections to the social network site. Google also recently cut off Facebook’s access to its own e-mail product to prevent Facebook from importing Gmail address books until Facebook allows Google to access data on its site.

Google Multiple Sign-in

Has it ever happened to you that you need to see multiple accounts at the same time? Usually we open different accounts in different browser or otherwise, to use in the same browser, we first have to sign off and then sign in with new Google Account. This can be very irritating at times, at least for those who are quite unfamiliar with many browsers and use Internet explorer all the time.

Now, you no longer have to perform such actions for opening multiple Google accounts. Google has finally come up with much awaited multiple accounts sign in feature. This can be implemented by going to the Google Accounts page and then enabling multiple sign in option. Once you click on the change, Google notifies that it is an advanced feature and will work on various Google products like calendar, code, Gmail, Reader and Google sites.

When you enable this feature, the most significant change is that you'll see a new drop-down next to your email address in Gmail and other supported Google products. Click on the drop-down and you can sign in to a new Google Account without signing out from the previous account.

Another change is that Google's URLs include a different number for each account:http://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/, http://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/, etc.

After you enable the multiple sign in option, you will see a drop down list with the list of Google Accounts that you must have entered. You can select any one of those and proceed with your work. The account that you will be using for the first time will automatically made as default account.

If you visit Google product that do not support multiple Google accounts, you will automatically be redirected to default account for that particular product. Moreover, if you sign out of any of the Google products while signed in to any account, you will be signed out of all your Google Accounts at once.

HOW TO: Use Facebook’s @Mentions Status Tagging

As we are very familiar with the photo and the video tagging in the same way we use status tagging to tag our friends.It’s very similar functionality to @replies on Twitter, and most folks will be pretty familiar with how it works and why you’d want to use it. Still, there are some differences to note, and some may appreciate a basic walkthough of how the new feature works.

Facebook’s version of the feature, like Twitter, also uses the @ symbol to invoke. However instead of having to simply know or remember the person’s username you’d like to tag, Facebook will generate an auto-suggest dropdown based on what you’ve typed after the @ symbol:

This is a nice touch considering that the scope of Facebook’s status tagging feature goes beyond just being able to tag your friends. You can also tag pretty much anything you’re connected to in the Facebook universe: companies, brands, artists and shows — anything that has a Facebook Page. You can also tag events and groups you’re a part of.

Once the item you’re wanting to tag appears in the list, all you have to do is click on it to select it and include a linked version of that entity in your status update:

Unlike Twitter, the @ symbol won’t actually remain as a part of your update; it’s merely the syntax that invokes the tagging feature itself. Instead, the full name of the person, page, event or group you tagged is now contained in your status update, contextually linked to its actual page. When your friends see your status update, they’ll be able to click on any of those links to find out more and possibly friend, fan, join or attend whatever you linked to:

One complaint we have about the new feature is that it only works in your status updates, or if you post to someone else’s wall using the Share widget on their page. That means you can’t tag anyone inside of comments, which to us — and probably most other folks who are used to Twitter’s implementation of this feature — seems like a “missing” feature. It doesn’t really matter where the conversation is happening, and I may have occasion to want to tag something inside a discussion thread just as frequently as I might in a status update.

Otherwise, as you can see, the new status tagging feature is fairly easy to use, and could help direct you and your friends more easily to other content around Facebook they might also like. Being a fan of music i am quiet happy that google has launched google music search engine.

But i get more excited when i came to know about that Google India announced a new India specific Google Music search landing page which allows searching for Indian music.

I have always wondered if I could just type in the name of the song and could hear it online. That would be like going to music heaven. Google Music search almost gets you there but not quite.
